Feeling qualified for a position you’ve applied for is one thing; selling yourself as qualified for the position is quite another. If you have gotten to the interview stage, the good news is that you made it through the CV screening process, but the interview is your real chance to shine.

It’s a good idea to prepare a few interview questions in advance to show that you are interested in learning more, in addition to making sure you have thoroughly researched the firm and know your resume inside and out. It demonstrates your genuine interest in the job and the organisation.

We’ve produced a list of ten interview questions for you below; we advise slightly modifying them to fit the business and position you’ve applied for.

  2. What qualities are you seeking in a candidate?
  3. What would be the most challenging aspect of the role?
  4. What are your expectations for the first three months in the role?
  5. What opportunities are there for advancement and growth?
  6. What direction do you anticipate the organisation taking over the next five years?
  7. Can you give me additional information about the team I’d be working with?
  8. How would you describe the working culture?
  9. Is this a newly created position, or has this position been with your organisation in the past?
  10. Which individuals and organisations will I be working with most frequently?
